I create videos to help others share their stories. These are proven examples of videos I’ve created to help others reach their goals.

Promotional Video


Client – Jhamtse Gatsal Children’s Community
Challenge – How might the organization tell the story of the work we are doing in a compelling way?
Solution – Create a video that tells the before and after the children come to the community.
Tools – Sony DCR-SR220 Handycam, Final Cut Pro
My Role – I came up with the storyline, shot the video footage and edited it.
Team Member’s Roles – All the dialogue came from the director of the organization. Some of the photos came from the organization. I received feedback from others.
Constraints – This project needed to:
– Be compelling for current and future supporters in over 25 countries.
– Share why the organization does what it does.
– Explain what good the organization is doing.
– Work for an online audiences so the length needed to be short, just a few minutes.

Promotional Video


Client – Visual Art Institute
Challenge – How can we tell about what the organization does and why the work it does is meaningful?
Solution – Create a video that interviews past and present students and their experiences of the program.
Tools – Cannon DSLR, Final Cut Pro
My Role – I came up with questions to ask and conducted the interviews. I also did the video editing.
Team Member’s Roles – Other team members recorded the video and audio.
Constraints – This project needed to:
– Explain what the organization does, for people who knew nothing about it.
– Tell who is benefiting from the organization and how they are benefiting.
– Be compelling, interesting and exciting.



Informational Video


Client – Jhamtse Gatsal Children’s Community
Challenge – How might we explain what a day at the community is like?
Solution – Create a video throughout one day at the community from sunup to sundown.
Tools – Sony Digital Handycam, Final Cut Pro
My Role – I shot and edited the video
Team Member’s Roles – I received feedback from other team members.
Constraints – This project needed to:
– Explain what the community does daily.

Client – Sunrise Residential Treatment Program
Challenge – How might we get people interested in our organization’s unique therapy method?
Solution – Create a video of explaining what the therapy method they use and how it helps people.
Tools – Cannon DSLR, Adobe Premier Pro
My Role – I did the video editing
Team Member’s Roles – Another team member shot the video and audio and planned the script
Constraints – This project needed to:
– Explain a little about their therapy method to people who know nothing about it.
– Tell why and how it is beneficial to those who use this method in a compelling way.

Fundraising Video


Client – Jhamtse Gatsal Children’s Community
Challenge – How might we help the community raise needed funds to buy costumes?
Solution – Create a video to accompany a Kickstarter fundraising campaign that explains the need.
Tools – Sony Digital Handycam, Adobe Premier Pro
My Role – I shot and edited the video
Team Member’s Roles – Other team members wrote the script, did the storyboarding, and planning.
Constraints – This project needed to:
– Explain why the organization needed money.
– Tell the background behind the purpose.
– Share what the money would be used for.
– Explain why funding these costumes is important to their cultural preservation.
